TACK NAILS 67-YARD FIELD GOAL

Jaw-dropping. Incredible. Those are just a couple of adjectives that could be used to describe what football fans witnessed on Saturday June 5, 2010.

The Nebraska Wildcats rolled past the Midwest Rampage (27-6). However, the highlight of the game was turned in by the Sledge Hammer.

During the second quarter, Chuck Tack nailed a 67-yard field goal with room to spare. The crowd and Chuck’s teammates went wild.

It’s the second field goal that Tack has made from 60 yards or more (67, 60) during a game in the past year. Once again, Tack is proving that he is more than worthy of an NFL tryout.

Chuck Tack is a unique athlete.  At nearly 6-6, he is able to combine accuracy and strength in all of his kicks.  Chuck's mission is to successfully showcase his talents to NFL teams, and then secure a spot on an NFL roster.  The Sledge Hammer is humble, and has always been a great teammate.
